Image 10.4Qi Treadmill Calibration Mode

This is part of the text of an info sheet I found inside our Image 10.4Qi treadmill (Sold by Sears, also sold by Icon; this treadmill also carries ifit.com branding).

The calibration mode can be helpful to you if, for instance, your treadmill gets stuck in a non-zero incline position with the power off (happened to us once)

Calibration Mode This console has a calibration mode to assist the technician in troubleshooting. To enter this mode, press and hold the Stop and Speed A buttons while inserting the safety key.

There are five levels to this mode. Move from one level to the next by pressing the Stop button. Exit this mode at any time by removing the safety key.

Level 1 - This level displays how the console has been configured to operate. It also displays the numerical value of each button as it is pressed.

TIME (Left Y2.) - Minimum PWM speed signal ‘6’
TIME (Right %x) - Button Test Values
SPEED- Maximum Speed '10'
CALORIES- Roller size: ‘2.5'
DISTANCE- Software code version

Level 2- This level is used to calibrate the incline and speed of the treadmill. To calibrate incline, press either Incline button. The treadmill will calibrate itself. To calibrate speed, press and hold the Speed A button until the Distance window displays an 85% speed signal. Adjust the MAX SPD pot on the controller until the Speed window displays 10.0. Press Speed V and allow the treadmill to come to a complete stop.

TIME- Internal Test. EP2P-pass, EF2F=fail
SPEED- Actual speed of the treadmill.
CALORIES- Maximum Incline level '10'
DISTANCE- Current PWM speed signal (%)

Level 3- This level lights each LED on the console in order. The Speed buttons control the speed of the lighting pattern. Incline A and Incline (down) toggles rows and columns on and off. Start restarts the cycle and toggles all LEDs on and off.

Level 4- This level displays the total Time and Distance of the treadmill. It also shows the current units of measurement.

TIME- Total time in hours
SPEED- Units: 'E'=English, `m'=metric
CALORIES-'d' if Demo mode turned on, else blank
DISTANCE- Total distance in miles

Level 5- This level allows a functional test to be performed on the treadmill. The console will show different information:

TIME- Elapsed Time
SPEED- Target Speed
CALS- Current speed signal %
DIST.- Actual Speed
